About Speaker :

A dog person through and through, Ashima Sood is the founder of The UX Guys, an agency and The UX Guys Tribe community for aspiring UXers. With 10 years of design experience, she's worked on products for Starbucks, Walmart, Biocon and T-Mobile.

Back in 2018, as a design manager she tried building a team of designers for a SaaS product company. She noticed a dearth of good design talent and vowed to bridge the gap in design education. She has mentored at Springboard, The Institute of Product leadership, Usability Matters and ADPList to name a few. The UX Guys Academy is launching soon with an aim to bring a graduate level of design education to the masses.

Her newest project includes a podcast she co-hosts with Heba, a buddy from university, now based out of Houston. The Undesign podcast aims at busting myths about the design realm to make design more accessible and is available on Spotify.
