UXTalk - "Clinical UX and Covid-19"

Dr Gyles Morrison MBBS MSc - is a Clinical User Experience (UX) Specialist and Digital Health Consultant, improving the usability, accessibility and fun people have with healthcare technology. He uses knowledge and experience of behaviour change to improve the way technology is successfully used in healthcare. He has worked with the NHS and a variety of healthcare companies in the UK, South Africa and America on digital healthcare products including Electronic Patient Record systems, remote monitoring tools and digital therapeutics.
He speaks internationally on the topic of UX and design thinking in healthcare. He also has three years of experience working as a junior doctor in the NHS. Through his company Dr-Hyphen, he provides a variety of services in digital health, service design, training and event hosting.

In 2016 Gyles founded the Clinical UX Association, a global community of clinicians, UX specialists and IT professionals who are passionate about healthcare.
Additionally, he is a competent coach and mentor, particularly for doctors transitioning out of full time clinical practice, or those who are interested in working in user experience. IHe regularly gives talks and workshops regarding career change, personal development and personal branding.
Gyles is a very creative person with interest in writing, drawing portraits, cooking and playing the violin and Africa Jembe drum.

Dr Gyles Morrison MBBS MSc is going to talk about the different challenges clinicians, patients and the general public face with Covid 19 and how Clinical UX can help overcome them. He is also talking about his journey in to clinical UX, how it defers to Healthcare UX and what his typical day of work looks like.
