Alipta is a seasoned design leader with over 24 years of experience in the software industry, spanning both B2C and B2B sectors, and specializing in SaaS products. As the Sr. Design Manager & Product Lead at Microsoft Bangalore, He lead a team of six designers to create and deliver innovative retail experiences for the Retail Cloud Industry, a new and rapidly growing segment of Microsoft's cloud offerings.
Besides his corporate role, he is also passionate about democratizing user experience education and learning.
He co-founded Design Shots, a non-profit initiative that organizes design conferences and workshops for aspiring and practicing designers. Through this platform, he also mentor and coach designers on how to build professional portfolios, crack interviews, and grow as designers.
